This requirement came into effect on April 10, 2025, and the eVisa must be approved prior to departure. It serves as the mandatory entry authorisation for eligible short-term travel purposes, including tourism and other permitted visitor activities. The electronic visa is valid for entry into Brazil by air, sea, or land. Travellers who already hold a valid physical Brazilian visa may continue to use it until its expiry, without applying for a new eVisa.

- Valid Passport Scan: Upload a coloured scanned copy of the passport bio-data page. Photographs of the passport page are not accepted.

Additional Requirements for Travellers Under 18
Minor applicants (below 18 years of age) must submit the following documents in addition to the passport and photograph:
- Authorisation Letter for Issuance of Brazilian Visa for a Minor: Must be signed by both parents and notarised by a public notary, including stamp and signature
- Birth Certificate: Original birth certificate and one copy.
- Parents’ Photo Identification: Copy of passport or other valid photo ID for both parents (Mother and Father).
